Love in Action
For nearly 100 years, GLIDE has been a beacon of love in action in San Francisco. Through Glide Memorial Church, the Center for Social Justice, and social services that create pathways out of poverty and crisis, we are transforming lives in the Tenderloin and beyond with your help.

Our Impact
A healthy GLIDE is a healthy San Francisco
Today, we welcomed Mickala Cheadle Josey as our guest artist and listened to a rousing sermon from Minister Marvin K. White. He asked us, "When you think of home, what do you think of? Is it familiar faces? Is it building family memories? Of songs? Of letters? A place where you never have to feel that your healing is finished?" He then urged us to remember: "Home has a room for all of us."And we can do so much to help other people feel at home: Surprise people with a hug. Make room for them. Help build a world full of love.
Dr. Gina, our staff has a few things to say!To celebrate your third anniversary as our President and CEO, we’re passing the mic to the people who work alongside you every day.
Thank you for the heart you bring to GLIDE, for believing in our team, and for caring deeply about the community we serve. We hope you feel the love in these messages.
Happy third anniversary, Dr. Gina! We’re glad to celebrate this moment with you. #GlideUnconditionally

Dr. Gina, thank you for showing up for our staff, our neighbors, and the people we serve. Your care for this community is at the heart of your leadership, and we’re grateful to celebrate three years with you.

Every ticket supports our community. The cost of a $125 balcony ticket can help provide Thanksgiving dinner for 32 community members or toys for 12 children. A $550 orchestra ticket can help someone reconnect with loved ones through our Journey Home program.
