Glide Memorial Church is a progressive interfaith church located in the heart of San Francisco’s Tenderloin, rooted in radical inclusion and unconditional love. We offer sermons rooted in liberation theology, music based in gospel tradition, and witness and testimony from all walks of life.

Join Us for Sunday Celebration
Our Sunday Celebrations are joyful, music-filled gatherings open to all held, every Sunday at 9am and 11am at 330 Ellis Street in San Francisco. The world-renowned GLIDE Ensemble and Change Band lift every voice, and our message centers on love, dignity, and action in the world. Our Celebrations are designed to revive your faith, heal the parts of you that might have been injured in other churches, and start your week with joyful affirmations and support.

Mission, Vision, and Values
Through acts of recovery, service, justice, connection, transformation and celebration we build a sacred spiritual community. We envision a city and a world that embodies the sacred within every person and affirms all dimensions of religion, race and ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, economic class, culture, age, immigration status and physical and mental ability. Our values are celebration, faith, prayer, radically inclusive storytelling, welcome, love, hope, service, justice, and truth-telling.

Our prayer team responds to hundreds of prayer requests every year. We joyfully invite you to submit any prayer request you need, big or small.

Ministries
